FRASER ISLAND DAY3

On my third day on Fraser island in the morning I saw my first Goanna. It was climbing down a tree when I spotted it. I had to rush back to the house and get my camera, just in time. A Goanna is a huge lizard, this one was 3 foot from nose to tail, it has a very long thin tail.

We went to the Moheno ship wreck. It was rusty, and incredibly long. It was a used in the first world war as a hospital ship, and after it crashed, it was used in the second world war as a bomb target for training pilots.

Then we went to Eli creek, a cold freshwater stream running into the ocean. We body boarded down the slow flowing stream into the lagoons at the bottom. I saw a golden orb-weaving spider (identified later at Sydney Wildlife world).
We then went to Indian Head. It is the most easterly point of Australia. We saw another dingo there, and lots of hikers.
